Jovan Karanović

Jovan is associate in Corporate/M&A team. He graduated in 2016 from the Law School of the University of Belgrade. During his studies, he was awarded the Law School Scholarship and the Sakura Scholarship.

Jovan is a member of the Council of the Law School of the University of Belgrade, a member of the Board of the Alumni Council of AmChamps Program of the American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia, and the President of the Supervisory Board of the European Law Students' Association of Serbia (ELSA Serbia).

During his undergraduate studies, Jovan did internships with the law firm Karanovic & Nikolic, the office of the Protector of Citizens - Ombudsman of Serbia and the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia. He was a member of the Working Group created by the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Serbia to draft the amendments to the Law on Youth.

He is fluent in English and his native Serbian. He also reads German.
